This article describes the perception that students and teachers of a district school in the city of Bogotá D.C. had about the teaching and learning strategies developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. e information was collected through surveys and the data analysis was carried out through a methodology by frequencies from an interpretive paradigm. As a result, it was possible to identify two types of educational strategies in the aforementioned activities: pedagogical, which accounted for an exercise of creativity and adaptability to improve learning, and operational, which sought to guarantee the continuity of the educational process remotely / virtually. These actions refer to those implemented to improve skills in the use of ICT, in an effort to guarantee the forms and means of communication, remote access and the virtual meeting of teachers and students. While these activities related to the operational nature had a greater presence and mention by the respondents, this emphasis was interpreted with some conditions, guidelines and contexts of the Colombian educational system that, for this particular case study, allowed to point out an important gap in the development of pedagogical activities focused on improving educational quality. However, it was possible to identify some pedagogical transformation initiatives that made it possible to consolidate significant teaching-learning processes for the academic process from a more human perspective Emergency Remote Teaching, educational strategies, secondary education, education in the pandemic.El presente artículo describe la percepción que estudiantes y docentes de un colegio distrital de la ciudad de Bogotá D.C. tuvieron sobre las estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje desarrolladas durante la pandemia por la COVID-19. La información se recogió a través de encuestas y para el análisis de los datos se utilizaron las frecuencias de mención a la luz de un paradigma interpretativo. Como resultado fue posible identificar en las actividades mencionadas dos tipos de estrategias educativas: las pedagógicas, que daban cuenta de un ejercicio de creatividad y adaptabilidad para mejorar el aprendizaje, y las operativas,que buscaban garantizar la continuidad del proceso educativo de forma remota/virtual. Estas últimas se refieren a las acciones implementadas para mejorar las habilidades en el uso de las TIC, en el esfuerzo de garantizar las formas y medios de comunicación, el acceso remoto y el encuentro virtual de docentes y estudiantes. En tanto estas actividades relacionadas al carácter operativo tuvieron una mayor presencia y mención por parte de los encuestados, se interpretó dicho énfasis con algunas condiciones, directrices y contextos del sistema educativo colombiano que, para este estudio de caso en particular, permitió señalar un vacío importante en el desarrollo de actividades pedagógicas enfocadas en el mejoramiento de la calidad educativa. No obstante, fue posible identificar algunas iniciativas de transformación pedagógica que permitieron consolidar procesos de enseñanza - aprendizaje significativos para una formación desde una mirada más humana en tiempos de pandemia.
